Diabetes workshops for pharmacists and support staff

Keele Hall - for all three dates


We have an exciting opportunity to offer both pharmacists and support staff comprehensive training  on diabetes. The training will be delivered by expert speakers in diabetes care, such as prescribing pharmacist. The sessions are as follows;

Pharmacists

Two evening

13th March – Diabetes: up close and personalised. This session will cover the disease state, prevalence, long term outcomes, effects of kidneys and heart

16th April – Diabetes: the treatment. This session will cover all the pharmacotherapy need to treat the condition, including drugs to use in CVD and kidney failure

 

Pharmacy support staff 

One evening

13th March – Diabetes. This session will cover the disease, diabetic foot, CVD ect. How the pharmacy staff can support patients and help them lead a healthier lifestyle.

 

All events will take place at Keele hall with a hot meal and drink, kindly sponsored by MSD.

 

PLEASE ENSURE YOU USE THE CORRECT BOOKING FORM – there is three forms – one for each of the pharmacist sessions and one for the support staff
