Wider Sexual Health Services in Staffordshire (Not Stoke)

March 25, 2017

Staffordshire County Council have just announced the results of the tender for the provision of sexual health services in Staffordshire.

The have sent out a letter which can be accessed here

Letter to community pharmacies regarding awarding of wider sexual health contract to SSSFT.

The important information for community pharmacies is:

  • No change to EHC service contract you hold to provide Staffs County Council EHC service via your subcontract with Lloyds.
  • Chlamydia test kits in pharmacy must be taken off the shelf as this service is de-commissioned and tests will not be processed.  Clients in need of Chlamydia testing should be referred to an SSSFT run service as referred to in the letter.

As more information becomes available the LPC will pass that on to you.

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT DOES NOT AFFECT SERVICES IN STOKE ON TRENT WHERE BOTH TIER 1 AND TIER 2 PHARMACIES ARE CONTRACTED WITH STOKE CITY COUNCIL
